Boosting Competences in
Penitentiary Staff in Europe

The Project
B-Competent is a 2-year project co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Justice Programme 2014-2020

B-Competent aims to build the capacity of prison civilian staff to correctly deal with foreign inmates and to meet their special needs and rights, in line with international laws and standards. This goal will be achieved through an innovative cross-border train-the-trainers course, combined with best practices sharing, awareness-raising actions and multilingual learning tools.
